- I sure have a case of the Mondays after one pretty terrific weekend!
- Congrats to the St. Boaventure junior Pirates, won their game against the ferocious Maroon Marauders of St. Angelica Parish (Great game, Marauders!). I don't think I'm the only one who appreciated Bess Dwyer's yummy thermos of hot cocoa to warm up frosty bones in the crowd. Said Mr. Collin Higgens: "This isn't Irish Cocoa, is it, Bess?" Too funny, Collin. Leave the jokes to me ;)
-Pop cans in the family room!!! EEEEK! Anyone else having this problem? Sometimes it seems like Zachary thinks that the recycling bins are their for show. They aren't!!! I wonder if I could tell the age of my table by counting the rings left on it, like a tree...:)
-Angelina Jolie...dial it down a notch! Ever heard the one about the milk and the cow, Angie?
-The Koala Bear is not actually a bear, but rather its a marsupial! Does this mean anything to me?
- 2009 is fast approaching. My resolution is to sing like I don't need music, dance like no one is watching me dance, and love it will never ever hurt me!"
-Who's never hungry on Thanksgiving? The turkey- he's already stuffed!
-Picked up a shrimp cocktail at the Costco as an appetizer for our Thanksgiving feast. Were the Pilgrims eating shellfish with the Native Americans? I can't say, but I do know that the LaPortia clan is going to be eating some with Grandma and Grandpa Lauglin!
-Where does the term contact lense come from? Contact with the eye? Probably.
-Click it or ticket, holiday drivers.
-High ho homesick lets go! I'm feeling like the ride of the rodeo! The LaPortia clan is going to fill up the LaPortia VAN in order to make the trip to Ames for Turkey day. With gas prices going down, the trip should be a cinch!
-Sail the Moonboat, Moonboat, Moonboat, Through the starry sky! Sail the Moonboat, Moonboat, Moonboat, watch the clouds roll by!-Tom Chapin
Enjoy the rest of your Monday, and remember to live everyday like its Thanksgiving!
Hugs,
Patty LaP.
